Even the most avid shooting enthusiast can benefit from a refresher course on safe gun handling. At public ranges I've stepped away from the firing line to keep eyes on other shooters who weren't presenting the safest of practices. These weren't first time shooters but people who I felt should know better or maybe were just lapsing in what they know they needed to do to promote a safe environment for everyone at the range. A refresher on the basic rules for gun safety and personal habits can form to put not only shooters at ease but everyone around those shooters.
Even at home, not everyone in a household may feel comfortable around firearms. A couple of hours spent with a knowledgeable firearms instructor and even non shooter will reap the benefits of safe gun handling. Instead of being scared that a gun may be loaded you can learn how to check and even unload and clear a loaded firearm to make it one hundred percent safe and put your mind at ease.
My wife and I, along with my father, started Safe Shooting Education with this specific goal in mind: Make everyone comfortable around firearms, shooting enthusiasts and non shooters alike. Safe gun handling is the key to safer communities and continued enjoyment of the shooting sports. Firearms are great for family fun and family protection when used and handled safely.
Sign up with us today for a firearms safety course to begin or refresh your safe handling of firearms.
